DECLARE A MAJOR IN STEM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, AND MATH)

Text about the specific programs/general information about how our programs work. Will act like a mini intro to showing the three different programs that we run. We currently don’t seem to have a text on the website that is a generic overarching text about the programs as a whole. This will help make the programs less confusing when looking at them indiviudally and guide them immediately to the right place.
FIRST LEGO LEAGUE
FIRST LEGO League introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to children ages 4-14 through fun, exciting hands-on learning. Our three divisions inspire youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills through hands-on STEM learning and robotics.
FIRST TECHNICAL CHALLENGE
Guided by adult coaches and mentors, teams up to 15 students grades 7-12 use robot kits to develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles, while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and working as a team.
FIRST ROBOTICS CHALLENGE
FRC gives high school students and their adult mentors the opportunity to work and create together to solve a common problem. Teams of students are challenged to design, build, and program robots and compete for awards, while advancing respect and appreciation for STEM within the local community.
The range of opportunities that an education in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) offers young people is wider than ever. FIRST® helps kids uncover their futures using a winning formula of inspiration, hands-on learning, team-based problem solving, mentorship, and celebration.
More Than Robots®, we are a life-changing global community of mentors, educators, volunteers, sponsors, parents, and alumni who are dedicated to helping all young people develop the skills, confidence, and resilience to succeed.
Exciting, hands-on FIRST programs have a proven and lasting impact on STEM learning and interest in students. FIRST participants work as teams in creative learning environments to solve an annual, themed robotics challenge.
